A NOTE FOR SECTION 8 APPLICANTS
Please be informed that the Section 8 program is experiencing significant delays. Please ensure that you are aware:
- Section 8 dictates only ONE application can be processed for a property under section 8 at any time. This means that if another application is already on file, your application will be put on a waiting list until that person is either denied or withdrawals their application. Fees are non-refundable.
- Section 8 packets are taking 6+ weeks to process at this time. That means if you are on a waitlist, we cannot process your application for at least this duration.
- Section 8 will not allow a packet to be processed if the occupancy inspection has not yet passed.
- Should we receive an application that does NOT require Section 8, we will consider these applications before Section 8 applications, as they are able to sign a lease and submit a deposit sooner.
